Recently I had to move out of my previous accommodation, because the previous landlord was kind of a bitch and abusive towards her tenants.
I'm ok now. I've moved into an accomodation centre for asylum seekers in Czech Republic and it's not that bad here. At least most of the stress has been alleviated.

Hoping the Fediverse can help me with some #legal research. I am currently writing a paper on #evictions, and am in the process of explaining how difficult the legal process is for #tenants without access to legal representation. I would like to cite specific figures about what percentage of #eviction judgments are successfully appealed and reversed nationwide, but I am unable to find any sources (No luck from #EvictionLab or Matthew Desmond's other projects on this). Some dude just turned off gas to our house (rented). Turns out, the water heater is gas, an old tenant never paid his bill, the landlord knew but ignored it, and the landlord didn't bother to tell us any of this or that we needed to get a gas account. 😡
