  1. When the #landlord rents the property out they give up some of their rights to that property. They can’t just let anyone in whenever they want. Therefore, you, the occupant can allow a vampire in, while your landlord cannot. At least, not without giving you prior notification and possibly hiring the #vampire to do some sort of work. (s g)

  4. Concerning the legalisation of #pluginsolar in the UK, there is one question open (for us) and maybe there is a #lawyer here who can answer it:

The UK "legalized" #pluginpv but didn't change any law concerning the right of #tenants to use it. The guidance simply says "ask your #landlord”.

Is the use of pluginsolar now subject to the whims of the landlord or does UK law give the tenant a right to install it, as its a generally legal and regulated technical device?

  5. The media is at it again. Headlines scream that landlords exiting the market will cause a rental crisis. But think for a second: if an investor sells a house, it doesn't vanish. It's sold to someone who will likely live in it. That means one less renter competing for a home.
This isn't a crisis; it's a market correction towards more owner-occupiers. But that doesn't get clicks.

  10. The most likely outcomes from this all is that our corrupt city council members who are landlords will significantly benefit from not having to recuse from all manor of legislation & public planning.

This is an alarming power gram from these Seattle democrats.
