The Vega landers were the last things to reach the surface - wait, it just occurred to me that the balloon instrument packages, suspended under the balloons, would have fallen to the surface when the balloons failed. Assuming that happened when telemetry ceased, they could be roughly located. Now I have a job for tomorrow. Anyway, here is a map of all Venus landers to summarize what we have been looking at. Time to go back.

Three proposals for NASA's Human Landing System, part of its upcoming Artemis program of lunar exploration. The one proposed by SpaceX (left one in the image) is so tall, it's adding an elevator to get astronauts to the surface. The other ones are by Dynetics and Blue Origins.
