Después de una serie de pruebas de unas cuantas plumas escandalosamente baratas, a pesar de que en relación a su precio sus resultados no era malos, estaba insatisfecho.
Cuando compré la Lamy Safari Vista, cuyo diseño me parecía muy atractivo, quedé prendado de ella. Creo que fue en mi primera pluma "perfecta": Excelente funcionamiento, diseño agradable y ergonómico y un precio asequible.
Aquella primera pluma llevaba un plumín M.
Un tiempo después de comprarla desapareció. Eso me produjo una gran indignación porque soy muy despistado, y perder las cosas que aprecio me produce ansiedad. No era tanto el precio sino la sensación de falta de control en mi vida. Me resistí durante varias semanas a reponerla convencido de que no la había perdido y aparecería en algún punto de mi desordenado espacio personal.
Finalmente me resigné y pedí otra esta vez con plumín F. El resultado fue excelente: el plumin F me gustaba aún más que el M. Y además la vieja Safari vista apareció a los dos o tres días.
Para poderlas distinguir les introduje dentro del cuerpo un pequeño trozo de cinta adhesiva de la máquina rotuladora con la letra correspondiente al plumín que llevaban. -

At this point the only conclusion I can make is that I made a mistake getting an extrafine nib. I'm gonna have to see if I can get a fine nib and test it out. Because with EF the only things that look the way I want are really the cartridges.
If I get some money I might just buy another #LAMYSafari so I can do side by sides faster.

My #LamySafari #fountainpen has been a little scratchy. Early this month, I cleaned the pen for the first time. When I did so, it appeared that the cartridge had perhaps leaked into the reservoir a bit. Like, maybe it didn't lock in as well as I thought or something. It had been writing really well up until this cartridge. I finished cleaning, but cartridge was still new, so I just put it back into the pen. Same problem again. Bad cartridge? Or did I break my pen somehow?
Please note in photo it appears there's ink in the reservoir... The 2nd photo is how it looked before I started seeing ink in reservoir.

Hasta hace un tiempo, los fabricantes chinos que imitaban el diseño de las Lamy Safari usaban plumines y cartuchos levemente diferentes a los originales, de forma que no encajaban en las plumas de la marca alemana.
Por eso me sorprendió ver a la venta en el gigante del comercio chino plumines y convertidores "para Lamy" y decidí comprar alguno para probarlos.
Un lote de cinco plumines EF me llegó ayer.
Encajan perfectamente en una Lamy, el flujo de la tinta es bueno y el plumín se desliza suavemente por el papel.

My birthday gift for myself arrived today! My first Lamy- Safari 2022 Special edition in Strawberry and Kaweco Sport in Fox. The other one is my first fountain pen -Kakuno. Do I like orange? I guess I do 😂

Hey #FountainPen folk, what is your most 'garish' or flashy pen?
Mine is probably this somewhat recent #LamySafari 'Mango' Special Edition model.
It's bright but I like the feel. I can always wear sunglasses while writing.
