Tried La-Mulana but nope! It’s a metroidvania so getting from a to b is a problem, some puzzles are inscrutable (had to use a walkthrough for the first area), and it’s kinda mean…

5: LA MULANA 2
Now we’re into the top 5, the games I really love. La Mulana 2 is a TOUGH puzzle-metroidvania. The base game is difficult enough, but throw in puzzles which require you to be paying attention to the game’s lore to have a chance of beating, and this is not for casual players. Nonetheless it’s an awesome game, bursting with mythological figures and moments where you feel like a genius for figuring something out.
