  3. Seeing mentions of #LammasDay always seems curious to a Finn as in Finnish “lammas” means sheep. Confusingly the other lammas refers to a loaf of bread instead, although I seem to recall sheep are also somehow connected to the celebration… Anyways, I had to check that the Finnish “lammas” and the English “lamb” do share the same Germanic origin.

    Now wondering where Tolkien’s lembas originates.
