Drove over to Chinook Beach Park in Seattle this week to catch the sunrise over Lake Washington.
I really enjoyed the contrast between the blue sky, the dark shoreline, and the golden path across the water.
It felt peaceful and like a really good way to start the day.

the low, low clouds you can see just over the lake but below the altitude of the hills in this photo taken on the way back were still going all the way up to northshore, so it would’ve been like this, just a lot more of it.
