A new #study found that #larvae of the lake fly Chaoborus edulis dive nearly 260 m in #LakeMalawi using stretchy air sacs powered by the #protein #resilin. This pressure-resisting ability rules out pressure as the barrier, leaving the #mystery unsolved.
