🚨🛑 Max Eberl has confirmed that contract talks with Konrad #Laimer are currently on hold.
“We would like to extend his contract. There have been talks. At the moment, they are paused. That’s not a problem - there’s no resentment or anything negative. Both sides have their expectations. Ours and his have to match, and at the moment they don’t. But that’s not a problem either.“
As revealed, Laimer already earns more than €10m gross/year. For a new deal, the demanded figure would be well above €15 gross/year. 🇦🇹

🚨🛑 Negotiations over a new contract for Konrad #Laimer beyond 2027 are currently on hold. After initial figures were exchanged, it became clear that the two sides are far apart in their expectations.
Laimer already earns more than €10 million gross per year. For a new deal, the demanded figure would be well above €15 million gross. Eberl/Dreesen are not prepared to agree to those terms at this stage.
Nevertheless, the relationship between Laimer, Bayern and his management remains very good and professional.

🚨🔴 Konrad #Laimer, when asked whether he would consider an early contract extension beyond 2027, said: “I’m open to anything! I feel very comfortable here.” Christoph Freund added: “We hope that he’ll play here for many more years.”
Laimer is currently one of the best full-backs in Europe, having provided two more assists tonight while playing in the unfamiliar position of left-back.

🚨🔴 Sacha #Boey could leave FC Bayern as early as this summer. If a suitable offer is made, the club are open to discussions.
The 24-y/o right-back has not yet established himself as a regular starter. His contract runs until 2028.
For the right-back position next season, Josip #Stanisic and Konrad #Laimer are expected to be the club’s main priorities.
