À Milan, la street artist Laika1954 a réalisé une fresque en hommage à Giulia Cecchettin et Gisele Pelicot: « Smash the Patriarchy ». ✊
"C'est avec douleur et colère, mais aussi avec un profond désir de lutter pour changer les choses, que j'ai collé cette affiche. Nous sommes en 2024 et ce massacre, fruit d'un patriarcat systémique profondément enraciné, semble ne pas avoir de fin. Malgré des décennies de lutte, ce système se renforce, soutenu même par un gouvernement qui va jusqu'à nier son existence. Il est temps d'agir. Un changement radical est urgent. L'éducation sexuelle et affective doit être introduite dans les écoles, une étape fondamentale pour former une nouvelle génération plus consciente, qui élimine la culture du viol et la remplace par celle du consentement, avec l'espoir de transformer l'avenir, même si nous luttons contre les injustices d'un présent dramatique.
Aujourd'hui, je me souviens de Giulia et de tous les Giulia qui ne sont plus là, mais je célèbre aussi le courage de Gisele, qui a décidé d'ouvrir les portes du procès contre son ex-mari et 51 des 83 hommes qui l'ont violée, pour donner à toutes les femmes victimes de violence comme elle le courage de dénoncer, parce que « la honte doit changer de camp ».
Aujourd'hui, 23 novembre, je demande à tous de descendre dans la rue. À Rome, à Palerme. Partout."
