I think this is the first time I've ever had a sip of a beer and immediately tasted celery. I taste celery more than I taste any things that I expect to find in a beer.

With a heady 9.0% ABV and the thick malt that is hammering the delicious fruit, this absolutely positively could be confused with a DIPA.

Before I forget Dept: Recently came across a #Bogo on #Lagunitas #IPA that I’d not seen before.These were the Maximus Colossal and Hazicus Maximus variants. Two thumbs and in particular the Hazicus is uniquely good but probably not something for a steak. Maybe with #Souvlaki or a #Gyro. Two of the better recent outs. Beer prices are still ridiculous. You just have to check whatza runnin

Lagunitas does a #stout? And it’s hard to find?

My Minneapolis crew comes through once again with a bottle of 2023 #Willettized coffee stout, aged in rye oak barrels.

Roasty coffee and with a bourbon lead and nice rye notes on the finish. Tasty!

That 5% ABV and the inclusion of the word refreshing on the front of the can leads me to believe that this really is going to be a good drinking beer.

The beverage looks like seltzer water when you pour it. It doesn't even have a slight haze or slight color to it that you might expect with the addition of something to water.
