Ich frage mal einfach so, gibt es im deutsprachigen Raum auf mastodon eine #Diabetes -bubble (spezifisch #LADA)?

Habe es nicht selbst, aber meine Frau, und ich glaub‘, sie macht es nicht so schlecht, aber sie hat mental irre damit zu kämpfen. Ich kann da teilweise nur sehr bedingt helfen.

Wir sind ärztlich betreut, aber Berichte von erfahrenen Leuten und wie sie grad zu Anfang mit der Diagnose zurechtgekommen sind, wären glaube ich hilfreich.

Okay, doctor is still blown away by my progress, my hba1c is 4.9 which is almost unbelievable considering where it started. That said, despite lifestyle changes that have been reflected in every other change...my LDL cholesterol is mostly the same. Too high. Which means it may be genetic. So I'll stop my diabetes meds and start cholesterol meds, for now.
