DiscogsDienstag: Lacrimosa -Alles Lüge
1993 war Lacrimosa noch ein Soloprojekt von Tilo Wolff, sogar die Plattenfirma Hall Of Sermon hatte er selbst gegründet, um seine Musik zu vermarkten. Nach den Alben „Angst“ (1991) und „Einsamkeit“ (1992) erschien die EP „Alles Lüge“ im Vorfeld des Albums „Satura“ (1993), ohne dass die Titel darauf berücksichtigt wurden. Die EP enthält das Titelstück in zwei Version, Original und Remix, einen Remix von „Diener eines Geistes“ vom Album „Einsamkeit“ sowie das vorher unveröffentlichte Instrumentalstück „Ruin“.
Die EP „Alles Lüge“ ist ein typisches Beispiel für Lacrimosas frühe Phase: düster, emotional aufgeladen und experimentell. Gleichzeitig deutet insbesondere das Titelstück den künftigen Weg von Lacrimosa an: weg von der minimalistischen und klassischen Instrumentierung, hin zu gitarrenlastigerer Musik, klanglich also ein Vorgriff auf die spätere Verschmelzung von Goth-Rock, Darkwave und Industrial, die mit dem vierten Album „Inferno“ (1995) begonnen wurde. Im Vergleich zu „Angst“ und „Einsamkeit“ wirkt „Alles Lüge“ erwachsener, rockiger, aber nicht weniger leidenschaftlich – eine gelungene Balance, die den Weg für die späteren, noch ambitionierteren Werke ebnet und die Entwicklung von Tilo Wolff dokumentiert.
Nach „Satura“ (1994) stieß dann die Finnin Anne Nurmi, vorher Sängerin und Keyboarderin bei Two Witches, dazu, die seitdem mit Tilo Wolff die einzige konstante Musikerin bei Lacrimosa ist.

I'm not usually a fan of "upgraded" classical music, it's usually best to let the original be the original.
But every now and then someone turns an old piece into something new that really does something. I remember when I first heard this one. I recognised it, but couldn't tell what it was.
Mozart's Requim is a piece of classical music that I know really well, from start to finish, but it took a while before I recognised that the theme in this piece is Mozart's last piece of work: the #Lacrimosa from his #Requiem. Those of you who saw the film #Amadeus, will remember that this is the piece that Salieri and #Mozart were working on, but couldn't finish because he died. The way the film depicts that scene is brilliant, I think, I never keep dry eyes there. And "lacrimosa" means "filled with tears", so it all adds up ;-)

Слушаю Lacrimosa альбом «Inferno» и всё время как в первый раз. Особенно Kabinet der Sinne. Тило Вольфф, а потом и Анне Нурми, сумели на мой взгляд очень умело поэтизировать и романтизировать немецкий язык, да и металл звучит особо, по-лакримозовски.
Помню году в девяносто седьмом, я чкался по городу и наткнулся на музыкальный ларёк, я купил что из «дев». А лохматый, бородатый и малость опохмелённый мужичок в окошке предложил мне ещё и журнал о тяжеляке европейском взять. Назывался он «Legion». Белый текст на чёрном фоне, чб фотки. Издавался он в Беларуси. Издание с качественными текстами и атмосферным дизайном. Очень жалею, что не осталось ни одного выпуска, всё раздал людям, которые теперь слушают блатняк…
Вот начитавшись текстов, уже на следующий день у меня была кассета «Einsamkeit». Тогда и подруга прониклась творчеством Lacrimosa. Вся наша любовь была проникнута творчеством этой команды… Так до сих пор в наших жизнях остался einsamkeit
