Shame on Starmer, shame on every MP who voted for this bill. Yes, it was diluted by some random concessions, but it still is the most shameful thing the current Labour government has done.
And: respect to those Labour MPs who spoke up against this depravity.

Please sign this, to discourage new PFI - the funding model that landed our NHS with crippling infrastructure contracts, many still in force, that would never have arisen, had the state funded past NHS improvements directly.
PFI is the very worst of political pazzazz today at the financial expense of tomorrow.

Over the last few days I’ve been thinking back to this Richard Seymour piece about the strange connections between centrists and the far-right:

There’s a long history of new Labour doing this, with the right flank of Starmer’s coalition now extending well into traditionally Conservative territory. Yes he’s called it “far-right thuggery” but I can’t help but wonder how the electoral landscape might be shaping tactical responses, with regards to for example recalling Parliament or going after Farage. My concern that Starmerism will lead the UK on a similar path to Macronism in France is growing with each passing day.

Well #labour lost by a record amount in 2019 - whether it was the manifesto he led the creation of or the image of the leader that the right-wing press sold matters not.
So I am not sure what you mean by "popular with voters" - his successor may not be "popular" but polling shows many more expect to vote #labout #nextGE

@Gurggles #Labour has abandoned #Scotland in a bid to win back the seats they lost in the last GE. Not only no deals, but will completely ignore the people of Scotland. Yet at the same time, their councillors are more than willing to do deals with any party just to keep the #SNP out - even where the #SNP has had the largest share of the vote they have formed coalitions with all and sundry. #Labout & #Conservatives Anglo-British Nationalists, two cheeks of the same arse.
