You will all hate me but I have to say this. The Labour party is finished.
First Corbyn, the antisemite who accused Jews born in this country of not having the proper sense of irony. The humourless pedant unable to grab opportunities.
Then Starmer, Reeves and Streeting outdoing the Tories on every front: making children starve, letting AI take over our intellectual property, letting US private equity take over our health system, letting the big five house builders build their rubbish houses in the last remaining natural areas. Go to hell, the lot of you. I've been active in left politics and trade unions for 40+ years. Labour is dead. Corbyn the dour idiot started it, Starmer the corrupted technocrat ends it.
Go to the LibDems or Greens, or SNP in Scotland, or Plaid Cymru in Wales.
The next parliament may be split between Reform, Greens, LibDems and SNP. Tories out. Labour out. Hooray.

Due to FPTP a party feels it cannot be an opposition, can only provide a blank policy page (the 5 missions are meaningless), lurches to the right, purges the centre n left so no longer any pretence of being a broad church/movement, content to fully support a genocide, happy to alienate n disenfranchise minorities inc left wing/antizionist jews, POC, Transpeople . . . BUT whatever happens always uncritically support the rich even if it means keeping children in poverty the neo liberal project must be sustained tho clearly not working for the 99% after 40+ years. 3. Will ban Transwomen from women's wards.

I think Starmer has been very successful in destroying the Labour Party. I can't see it recovering. It has to be another alternative fighting for the policies he has abandoned. For me, that's the Green Party with the most progressive policies and a growing national presence.
