I’ve started baby steps into learning #kwéyòl (my mothers first language) 🇩🇲

So far it’s a lot easier than #Japanese as I’m mostly learning to speak it and I’ve found a few really good resources on YouTube.

Just a week in but my goal is to start a simple conversation with my mama in February in time for her birthday.

So far switching between #Japanese and #kwéyòl has been OK, which was my primary worry. My brain is coping.
