Spent quite a lot of time reading aloud yesterday + today (kids favourite "treatment" when they're sick), now I can hardly speak.

I don't think most people know just how mind-blowingly recently women weren't allowed to do completely normal things on account of being women.
BTW, Wikipedia informs us that there weren't any actual rule against women participating before '72, and that this didn't stop race officials, notably director Will Cloney, to claim they were only following the rules. So, you know, that kind of bullshit is not a new thing either.

Folk har I så lang tid haft svært ved at tro på JKRs politiske magt i Skotland og UK. Men her er så det mest åbenlyse eksempel ever.
