    I am feeling about as useless as a man can feel right now. I'm going out in fifteen minute intervals trying to chip my car out - and it's "chip", not "shovel". I'm just literally bludgeoning the ice with my shovel and scooping up the bits I chip off. I'm only doing a bit at a time so I don't end up in the hospital, and in the meantime the cold I had last week has boomeranged and now after breathing in all the cold air out there, my throat is sore and my voice has gotten hoarse again.

    I need to go across town and get my other wife's car out as well [ #PolyProblems ] And I have an online show tonight and a show tomorrow and on Thursday, all of which will require me being able to speak.

    #kvetch: my flight is so late that we are starting to board after the published flight time, but since the airline hasn't actually sent an updated departure time to the app, said app is no longer showing the boarding pass (because we must have taken off).

    #kvell: I saved the boarding pass to Google Wallet so I still had the QR code and walked right on board. (I could equivalently have taken a screenshot but now that I know this feature is here, it's easier.)
