Looking at this old thing (without reading, sorry), I know part of what I wanted to discuss with anyone is ... how does one go about matching the #Kvantum style w/ what i see for the #COSMICDesktop default styles, as shown?
Or, do we simply go against recommending the isntallation of Kvantum dempendent software?
NOTE: i've only recently come to know of Kvantum (i think), so... i can't say its super important.

I didn't realize it would be different on Cinnamon, but my perception is that it is different. E.g. Octopi didn't change. The modal dialog win is translucent... sometimes. ha!
but doesn't really seem to change anything. @EndeavourOS

That's beyond the scope of my desires (such master), but I discover here that we can see precisely (maybe, lol!) how the changes to the #Kvantum parameters will change the rest of the UI / desktop enviroment.

Перескочил на #Kvantum. Никогда им не пользовался - не было необходимости. Но с исчезновением темы Arc для Plasma 6 - пришлось искать другие способы ее установки. И вот как раз с помощью Rvantum проблема решилась.
В Plasma 6 вижу некоторые косяки с иконками. Inconsistance, так сказать. В остальном вроде все неплохо.

TIL #Kvantum sets a dark icon set for dark themes so my environment variable only made apps that don't work with Kvantum (E.g. #Tokodon) harder to use! If you own a #Linuxphone and want a dark theme for QT/#Kirigami apps Kvantum works well but make sure to only set the #QT and QTQuick theme in your environment variables, not the icon pack!

I think I finally figured out a decent dark theme for #QT apps in #Phosh using #Kvantum and it's dark Gnome theme but Tokodon doesn't seem to like it at all so I will have to use a PWA for Mastodon again. It's really nice to finally have a somewhat decent dark theme even tho I would prefer the dark version of Breeze, maybe KDE will make that possible at some point I guess!

I have now ruled out effitask and focused on making qtodotxt2 more usable.
It was not easy to find and configure a dark #qt5 theme that works well with it. I ended up on the #Kvantum variant "KvGnomeDark", which makes the entries with their multiple colours at least somewhat readable.
To configure that I had to set "Kvantum" in qt5ctl and then set "KvGnomeDark" in kvantummanager. Not great, nor obvious, that you need multiple programs to do that.
