Von #Brügge machten wir zunächst einen Ausflug nach #Oostende und von dort mit der #Kusttram nach #DePanne - das ist der westlichste Punkt von Belgien und wenn man ein kleines Stück am Strand entlang läuft, erreicht man den nördlichsten Punkt von Frankreich. Wir nutzten das tolle Wetter natürlich auch für ein erfrischendes Bad im kühlen Nass #GoWest24

Zo, vandaag voor het eerst aan de kust geweest en mijn favoriete tramtype voor het eerst (en laatst) in éénrichtingsversie gezien.
Ik moet zeggen: ze zijn lelijk verbouwd, maar in het echt niet zo lelijk als ik had verwacht.

Het achterbalkon is wél supergaaf! Dat zou een mooie zithoek zijn!

And I think, #Basel’s BLT line 10 is also Europe’s longest international tram line - is crosses into France and makes a station stop at #Leymen there.
Belgium’s #Kusttram tram line is certainly longer - as it does the entire length of the Belgian coast - yet it isn’t an “international” one: its eastern and western termini are on Belgian soil (although only a few hundred meters away from the Dutch and French borders).
