Guten Morgen allerseits!
#KTorrent hatte heute früh schöne Neuigkeiten für mich, bin auf dem besten Wege meine Schuldigkeit in Sachen #LinuxMint Images abzugelten.
Denkt immer dran, sharing ist caring 😁

This year, I finally used #Qbittorrent and it is amazing. I was fine before with #Transmission and then #Ktorrent. But after adding search plugins to Qbittorrent I can't go back. I am using the qbittorrent-tak #snap version. It works great. I was using the #Flatpak version at first, but then it just stopped launching - even after an unrelated reboot. I will use Snaps or Flats, whichever works the best but, #SnapApps have been just working when given the chance.

So many #KDE applications work great on Windows, it’s ridiculous. #Krita? #KateEditor? #Kdenlive? Awesome! #KDEConnect? Chef’s kiss!
Kind of sad that there are no versions of #KTorrent or #Gwenview.
So, yeah, what’s my operating system? #Firefox.
No, but really? KDE and #Nushell.
Stop it, be serious, what’s underneath?! Who cares. -

Just for the record, #qBittorent solved many problems I had with the (long abandoned?) #ktorrent and #transmission on #ubuntu, although I still appear unable to upload on #dimeadozen torrents.
Unlike the others too, the help button contains help.

Anyone with expertise in #ktorrent use with #dimeadozen via a router? I've forwarded 6881 both TCP and udp and confirmed using whatsmyip.org but Dime says "protocol error 1: no/erroneous bt client or misconfigured router" and my upload ratio is dismal! #ktorrent config lists "udp tracker" on port 8881 which I redirected but the test says there's no listener…
Should I just migrate my torrents back to #Transmission?

I had vague notions of getting another computer, but I'm saving that for my birthday if then. Get the machines I have now working #BOINC, #Tor, and what-have-you.
BOINC was making Atmos squirrely, and the typing must flo, so I seeded #Ktorrent with Arch Linux as a favor. Tor is behaving itself. And so it goes. -

With #KTorrent you can see which chunks have been downloaded and which are available.
I remember having that GTO torrent stuck at 99% on the last episode for 6 months. Had I known the only missing chunks were in the credits at the end of the episode, I would have decided to watch it earlier.
