There are plans to refurbish older #ElectricTrainService (#ETS) and #Komuter #trains, which will help increase capacity and frequency
There were some 18 old sets of ETS and Komuter trains and some are needing major overhauls before they could be put back into service
The Ministry of Transport (#MOT) decided to refurbish some of the older sets so that they could be reused

A woman in her 30s survived being hit by a #train at a #KTM #station in #KualaLumpur after jumping on the #tracks on morning of 10 December.
Rescue personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene and managed to remove the woman.
The severely injured woman was sent to Kuala Lumpur Hospital (#HKL) for treatment.
