Recently, just few weeks back, after reading about the #nixmultiverse blog. I got inspired and wanted to explore the possibilities. So I vibe coded a project to test and prototype the design.It's called super-comma-nix. It's inspired by comma-nix.
It's to let users try nix #shell, nix run commands more easily with shorthand instead of long commands.
I have added nix output monitor & also added a #sandbox feature so far.https://github.com/vivekanandan-ks/super-comma-nix

Of course easily bypassable problem with local scoping of those var only to the project. But would be great if we have little more unique names which also have the project name in it to make things readable and quickly understand that those are for this or that particular project.Just a random thought I had. And also love the holos.social giving power to people by #selfhosting #activitypub in a mobile. (Have to learn the architecture etc before the day with my hectic plans but I know my excitement will push me😁)

I planned a stall for 2 topics combined:
#Nix ecosystem and Holos.Social . Love to explain curious minds how some projects in the nix ecosystem does things in a way which many wouldn't have thought of. Like #devenv, #nixos, #nix-wrapper-modules, #nixdockerTools, #homemanager, #nixsystemmanager, etc -
And also love the holos.social giving power to people by #selfhosting #activitypub in a mobile. (Have to learn the architecture etc before the day with my hectic plans but I know my excitement will push me😁)

10+ years of casual #linux user. Now in #NixOS for 1.5+ years what a journey.
One thing I learnt about myself over the years is that, I might not be a pro Linux knowledgeable guy.
But my tenacity will push me to learn things deeper & deeper when things go wrong. I know I might not be the best at Linux, but that won't stop me from digging deeper when something goes wrong. My tenacity & the way I blend multiple domains to other domains is my skill I guess i.e Creativity
