I'm moving us to #kSuite @infomaniak_network finally and was just testing their new Euria private #AI tool. I think it is a good example of neutering a tool to the point of very limited utility in the name of privacy. On the upside, I can integrate my local AI tools through their API :-)

Probiere die #ksuite von #infomaniak .
Nur für Fotoverwaltung ist leider recht rudimentär, dafür ist eine Cloud auch für Daten dabei und recht preisgünstig...

Som sidebemærkning til de #kSuite nysgerrige, så kan vi selvfølgelig ikke begynde at flytte rundt på vores domæne, som Windows 365 kører på.
Heldigvis har vi et alternativt domæne, som kan køre med kSuite mens vi tester. Det er for at øve personligt drev og fælles drev. Jeg har ikke helt fundet ud af, om jeg så skal køre med en alternativ e-mail i perioden, men det skal nok løse sig.
Dokumenter er ikke noget problem fordi LibreOffice fint kan bruges til de skabeloner vi har.

Ich bin noch hin und her gerissen, ob #nextcloud (managed) oder doch sowas wie #proton #ksuite #pcloud etc. Nextcloud scheint mir als Einsteiger erstmal durcheinander...
Was ich gern wissen würde und wo ich öfter drüber stolpere: Wie handhabt ihr das mit euren Bildern und der Synchronisation in die Cloud? Lasst ihr es einfach direkt immer synchronisieren, wie es Google gemacht hat, oder macht ihr eher Backups? Warum? Weil ich gern die Bilder in der Cloud haben würde, sowie auf dem Handy, falls mal kein Internet im Busch oder so. Wenn ich jetzt Bilder löschen möchte, passiert das meist nicht parallel in der Cloud, das müsste dann doppelt laufen. Die meisten Anbieter machen das wohl bewusst so!?
Wie löst ihr das bzw. handhabt ihr die Bilder?

Nachdem ich #neuhier bin, dachte ich, uch stelle mich msl kurz vor 😁
Mein Name ist Chris, ich bin leidenschaftlicher #nerd, #gamer und #hobbyautor. Bisher habe ich ein #buch verföffentlicht, mit dessen Qualität ich aber sehr unzufrieden bin. Die Neuauflage ist in Arbeit.
Zudem arbeite ich an einer #Science-Fantasy Reihe und an einer #steampunk #fantady Reihe.Momentan experimentiere ich auch mit #Linux, #LibreOffice und #kSuite #microsoft hinter mir zu lassen.

Remove Windows and MS Office from any PC you only can and install Linux, you can even install the #EU_OS there is support, and it is easy. Get over the fear that it is hard, it's not! Remove american companies from your life, from your Country, from your EU. #digitalindependenceday Ohh, and replace MS Office with #libreoffice or #kSuite or #proton an EU alternative to the entire MS Teams ecosystem Let's do it! P.S. Github transfer to #codeberg So many option, so little american companies to piss on ;)

Activité de vacances : changer de fournisseur de messagerie / contacts / calendrier, sans changer d’adresse mail. Et non, pour un informaticien, ce n’est pas une corvée !
Passage du méconnu MailFence.com (société belge), au service très sécurisé, presque trop d’ailleurs, au plus connu Infomaniak.com dans le cadre de sa suite bureautique kSuite, l’équivalent européen d’Office 365.
Modification réalisée sans encombre, pour les personnes qui ont mon adresse mail, celle-ci ne change pas.

Bin vorsichtig positiv überrascht: Bin mit Kalender/Aufgaben/Kontakten (und auch etwas Speicher) von Google zu #Infomaniak #kSuite (ich zahle etwas) umgezogen.
Scheint zu funktionieren unter Linux (Thunderbird, offenbar kein Add-on für CalDAV/CardDAV mehr nötig) und Android (hier brauchts für Aufgaben scheints jtx Board). -

Moving from #Proton to #kSuite , nothing wrong with Proton really, just some things that didn't work for me, and kSuite has some stuff so that I can consolidate more services into it.
