Agree with authors; seems farfetched. $250mil/yr sales tax rev for 30yrs could be needed. WyCo sales tax rev in 2022 appears to only be around 80mil. Though maybe Im not reading that right https://wycokck.opengov.com/transparency/#/2009/

In line (via Zoom) for city council public comment, on the proposed ordnance to make Lawrence a sanctuary city against the anti-trans and anti-intersex Kansas law SB180. At around 90 minutes of public comment now and there are many more people ahead of me.
