I may have posted this Kshama Sawant interview with Chris Hedges earlier. Today Hedges posted his endorsement of Sawant on his Substack. Note that Alice Walker and Mumia Abu-Jamal have also endorsed her. She is one of my favorite politicians. She points out that Smith ought to be prosecuted for war crimes (Iraq War).

@dgodon I understand you might question the strategy, but I’m grateful and impressed she’s calling attention to Smith’s politics, his priorities for war and weapons. I think he and a number of other Democrats in Congress get passes when they have D after their names despite their martial roles in Pentagon/ industrial complex support. With relentless cuts in social services at all government levels, he may be more vulnerable than he appears.

i think #everybody needs to #mobilise, regardless of where your political opinions lie. we need to start a #revolution before we all get killed, we can work details out as we go along. it's a continues #WorkInProgress.
