@smxi I didn't used #xfce for years now, may be I can take a look on it but it will probably switch to #wayland one day too :ablobcatwave:
From #kde I'm only using #kate, #konsole and #krusader
#kate and #konsole I can easily find an alternative I think
For #krusader all other file manager I've tried didn't provided me any satisfaction except #midnightcommander that I use most of time (more often than krusader in fact...)Or I can choose X11 from SDDM login but it's probably just a matter of time before being stuck and forced to use wayland...
Years ago I was greedy to test and experiment distro & desktop environments, switching from one to another one was not a problem.
The thing is now, I just want to use my computer, I don't have the time anymore for that, neither the patience :ablobcatknitsweats: -

Krusader is a simple, powerful, dual-panel file manager for the KDE Plasma Desktop and other Linux desktops. You can think of it as a power-user's alternative to Dolphin, and it follows the tradition of "commander" style file managers (such as Midnight Commander.) Krusader includes archive handling, mounted file system support, a file system search, directory synchronization, batch renaming, and much more.
Krusader is extremely configurable, to the point that you can use it as a single-pane file manager if you prefer. Krusader is designed with the theory that by providing all users all of the tools, any single user can hide unwanted features and just use what they want. Krusader has a device manager. You can mount and unmount file systems with the MountMan tool in the Tools window. Krusader also has a disk usage monitor, so if you're wondering where all your hard drive space went, you can get a graphical report on what files are using up your space.
