Spent three days doing #agility last weekend. Dreamer competed and had a blast tho, as usual, we only got one qualifying run. At 6 yards per second he is really fast and I have a hard time thinking as fast as he runs. Casper got to hang out and socialize. I stripped Dreamer a little bit today. He's not a #terrier, bit it he has a wirey terrier type coat. He was getting too #scruffy. I like neat scruffy lol. He is a #Kromfohrlander and they have personalities quite different from a terrier. #dog #DogsOfMastodon

Went to a Scent Work Trial with a couple of my #dogs last weekend. We had a blast. It was at a haunted house. Such a fun place for searches! The dogs had no idea it was supposed to be scary. My two #Kromis showed at a local #IABCA #DogShow this weekend. I'm not sure I really like this venue, as it seems to me that if you show, you are pretty likely to get the rating needed to receive the International Championship title. And it seems all the dogs received an adequate rating. So it's like you are basically buying a dog show #title. So why do I do it? Their breed is the #Kromfohrlander. #Kromis are a relatively new breed. They were started in #Germany in #WWII by a lady who lived in #Berlin. They resemble a #terrier, but they were bred to be companions and they don't have the independence that is more typical in #terriers. They do tend to have some terrier qualities though. Jet and Dreamer had a blast at #BarnHunt this weekend! One of those rare weekends where we got a lot of Qs. Jet was entered on Fri and Sun, had 3 Master runs and 3 #Crazy8 runs. Qualified in all his Master runs and got a bunch of Crazy 8 points! Jet is 13.5 years old, is retired from agility, and doesn't compete full time. Dreamer ran all 3 days and got 5 Master Qs! And a bunch of C8 points. He needs 3 more Master legs for his #RATCH. #Kromfohrlander #DanishSwedishFarmdog #DogsOfMastodon

Casper is in the background. He's only 4 months old and doesn't have a sit stay yet. Dreamer is the taller boy, he's a #Kromfohrlander and he had fun doing #DogAgility today. Connor is the other nicely sitting #Dog. He has an #autoimmune disease called #Pemphigus where his immune system is attacking his skin. But he's doing really well right now. This was Dreamer's #AKC #Agility Jumpers With Weaves run today. He is so much fun and he absolutely loves the game! We did not qualify as we had some mistakes but I was happy with my handling, and Dreamer always has a blast! #Kromfohrlander #DogAgility #DogSports #DogsOfMastodon #Dog #Dogs
