Can I make it this year and who’s it gonna be? #WIP #Krita_artists

My music covers through the years

#6 - Buitengewoon (extraordinary)
By now I have finished my seventh artwork for the @fijnproeverz
More news on that will follow later... 😀
This one started with an ink drawing on paper, which I finished and colored digitally in Krita
A rocketman gesturing a peace sign somehow made sense, at least, the kitchen towel did as I wore it as an accessory in the video for 'onder de cloche'

Why are there so few dark skinned anime gals???? Wanted to draw some like dark skinned characters but I realised there weren't many I could actually think offfff

Anyway, here's a gender swapped Killer B~

Fun fact: growing up there wasn't much positive representation of ppl who looked like me, so I kinda had to see myself in other characters and built up the feeling like representation wasn't important and I was like connecting with characters at a deeper level because I didn't need them to look like me. The one time I actually tried to tell a friend that my favorite characters in naruto were like the lightning clan because they had skin colour similar to me, she (a white kid) laughed at me and I felt so superficial and embarrassed for like admitting that I liked a character because they looked like me, hey fuck you, if you're the default skin tone, then every fucking character looks like you, lemme have my wins.

Lemme know if there are any like characters with dark skins and distinctive outfits that'd be cool to draw~ (and preferably aren't too overdone like Mirko)

ppl don't interact so much with my more risque drawings heheh but that's fineeee I don't do this for engagementtt I do it to feel good about myselfff

hehe anyway, does anyone know star control 2? this is fanart of the syreens iykyk~ (didn't do the green skin and red eyes though that would have defo looked cool)

quick sketch~

didn't have time to do like something really polished, so here's like a medium level sketch that looks decently okayy

Yor sketch~ Working on different line-art styles~ a bit more sketchy lineart, but it ended up looking good and I couldn't be bothered to make a clean pass so just added colours directly~
