I went downtown to pick up a few extra things before I leave for Boston in 12 hours, and saw a nice used copy of this that I couldn’t turn down.

It’s in immaculate shape, and I’ve been looking for an early-ish copy with the original cover for quite sometime.
I bought a recent reissue with that awful blue alternate cover, and I was never pleased with how it sounded.
Now I can replace it.

Autobahn is one of those albums I can just throw on at any time on any day and be happy. I’ve loved it ever since the early 90s.
It was the first song AND album I ever heard by Kraftwerk, and it was my gateway drug into appreciating a very different kind of music.
My love for it will never wane.

heute ein Bild von gestern: ein Weggefährte am Elberadweg.
Die blau blühende ‚Gemeine Ochsenzunge‘ setzt auf einer kahlen Fläche kurz vor Pirna wunderschöne Farbkleckse. Interessant ist, dass die Wurzeln einen roten Farbstoff enthalten, der früher zum Färben von Ölen und Fetten verwendet wurde.

Kommt gut durch den trockenen und milden Frühlingstag.

I Feel Like a Bombed Cathedral è il nuovo progetto del musicista francese Amaury Cambuzat (Ulan Bator, faUSt), affiancato dalla visual artist inglese Daisy Dickinson. La performance unisce paesaggi sonori post-rock, drone e noise — evocativi come una “cattedrale bombardata” carica di storia e potenziale — con visual analogici fluidi e immersivi che funzionano come portali sensoriali.

L’opera nasce dall’esperienza personale di Cambuzat, dalla sua formazione classica alla continua reinvenzione della chitarra, e si presenta come un rituale audiovisivo più che come un concerto: una fusione sinestetica in cui luce, immagine e suono si sovrappongono fino a creare un’unica dimensione percettiva.

In debutto nel 2025, il progetto è un viaggio ipnotico tra rovina e trascendenza, memoria e visione, un “esorcismo” poetico che guarda al futuro come spazio sacro e sempre possibile di trasformazione.

Sothiac

I Sothiac nascono nel 2015 tra Berlino e Londra suonando in Europa, Cina e Giappone.La loro musica è un viaggio nelle profondità del suono.

La versione duo è un brutal drone che fonde elementi di ambient, landscape ed elettronica sperimentale, spingendo l’ascoltatore verso territori visionari e ipnotici.Pat Moonchy (aka Moon) – voce e synths – e Lucio Liguori (aka Shine) – chitarra danno vita a un dialogo sonoro fatto di tensione, improvvisazione e vibrazioni primordiali.
