Day 25 of the #KpopAdventCalendar
Holiday gift/craft Kpop/pop Related
I can’t believe we’re done with the Holiday cheer!
Today is the perfect day to show off my aunt’s Christmas gift! 😭😭 she’s the best! While my mom makes fun of my Kpop obsession (but I know she’s soft for Mingyu lol) my aunt supports the screaming and the love. Look at my #seventeen t-shirt!
Happy Holidays everyone! 🎄 thanks to all of you who tagged along in the challenge and I hope you all enjoyed my posts as well 💜

Day 24: Idols/Singers Sharing Pictures of Snow or Christmas Trees
Here's Yves near a Christmas tree.
Does the release of a picture from a magazine photoshoot count as Yves sharing it?

Day 21: Upbeat Holiday Song
https://youtu.be/2f4BDCe28sw?si=xh-PvTko_zV6LdHQ
One might be inclined to think this is a cover of a Western song, but as far as I am aware this is an SM original written by Kenzie. Anyway, it's a great song!
Confession: In my Kpop infancy, I did not immediately undertstand that SNSD and Girls' Generation were one and the same group!

Dance Challenge of ‘Christmas EveL’ by Stray Kids or Any Other Dance Challenge
There’s many I could share, but this Grinch going all out makes me giggle all the time :blobcatgiggle: it’s like the song was meant for The Grinch! Haha I don’t know who this is, though.

I have to choose my fave 2024 Christmas song, and these three faves for #TheLastChristmasChallenge because LOOK at them! Sungwoonie the angel in a fluffy sweater, Taemin in cutest of cuties mode and Lee Mujin's face .. he is SO NOT here for it and it makes me giggle.

Day 19 of the #KpopAdventCalendar
Holiday Dish You Would Share With Your Favorite Groups
I definitely would have them taste some Honduran Christmas food! First, Honduran tamales and then, for dessert, Honduran torrijas 🤤🤤 I hadn’t eaten any of these as of yet, but plan to do so next week, healthy or sick, I’m eating them! Period!

Day 11 - Holiday Music Video
Apparently Stray Kids are winning at Christmas right now, because it's 2 in a row. But COME ON .. how could I not pick this mv .. it's hilarious and adorable (and the track is pretty great too!)

Day 18 of the #KpopAdventCalendar
A Holiday Movie You Would Watch With Your Bias (es)
I’m sharing 3 of my favorite movies because I feel like my biases would enjoy at least one of them. I want to think Tae and Hoshi would enjoy The Holiday (and maybe Wonwoo? Idk), then Wonwoo, Hoshi and Beomgyu would enjoy The Grinch; and Hoshi and Beomgyu would enjoy Home Alone 2. Hoshi it’s in all of them bc i think he’s someone very adaptable to any situation and open to explore what other people like!

Day 18 -- Holiday Movie You Would Watch With Your Bias(es)
The invitees: all of my biases. so quite a quite a lot of idols. Here is an incomplete list from the beginning of the year: https://c.im/@jemmesedi/111693952710099235
The setting: screening room with comfortable armchairs and sofas, plus lots of blankets and cushions.
The refreshments: hot tea and Walker's shortbread.*
The film: The Snowman (1982)
I chose this 25 minute animation because it's a charming holidayish film without any dialogue, the only words being those of the song "Walking in the Air" *. As such, it would be suitable for viewers with limited English.
The film, based on a wordless picture book by Raymond Briggs, was made in 1982 for the British TV station Channel 4. It's become a staple of British holiday viewing, but I am not sure that it is that well known beyond the UK.
The through-composed score by Howard Blake works so well.
Although the film is suitable for young viewers, it isn't babyish. It doesn't have any religious content, nor could it be considered remotely controversial in any way.
I think the Snowman is an ideal film for sharing with idols, and you all might enjoy it too!
