Kupowanie #KOSS z wyższej półki to słaby wybór na dzień dzisiejszy. Raz że "made in USA", a to cła i wojna handlowa itp, ale nie mają w dystrybucji padów. Musiałem zamówić u producenta.
Fajnie, że za darmo wysyłają, ale 3-4 tygodnie tygodnie jestem bez słuchawek. Poza tym te pady też słabe mają. -

Okay now maybe the last change since I found the Yaxi earpads. The larger plether cushions were really comfortable but not good for the audio quality. Using the Porta Pro headband and Yaxi pads make it just a bit different than the original KTX Pro sound but I am very happy with them. Currently listening to @radiofreefedi comfy channel using RadioDroid.

One more change. The stock earpads are pretty thin and after a while uncomfortable so I usually use Yaxi pads but missing my spares. They are pretty expensive in Germany but I have an extra pair of generic cushioned on-ear replacements so popped those on. Not entirely sure about the change in sound yet but really comfy.

Two broken Koss headphones + 5 minutes can equal one working set. The left was a vintage-ish KTX Pro 1 that I brought with me from California that is at least a couple of decades old, but with a warped headband. In between are newer Porta Pro drivers (one not working at the moment) and on the right is the Porta Pro headband with the KTX drivers attached. Some of these are like Lego kits. I also like some music better (80s/90s industrial) through these rather than wireless.

i LOVE how these sound, and for this cheap? hell yeah, would recommend.
also would 100% recommend the Yaxi earpads, they do so much to make the headphones *even* more comfortable (esp for long term use).
8/10 - an old classic made a 9/10 with mods, cables are just a very nice nicety but... style!
i feel like finding/making these should be a blog post...
and i think i need to update my audio section at https://the-sauna.icu/audio/ too.. -

If I could mix and match, I'd like to have something built along the lines of a #nocs #ns900, that doesn't weigh more than a #sennheiser #hd25 and sounds like a #meze #empyrean. 😝 And all of that with the footprint on my head of a #koss #portapro. Pretty much impossible, I know. But I am willing to compromise. -
Spotting a wrap of electrical tape around the wires of my computer speakers just triggered a sharp #memory of my #dad, gone 10 years now. During the spring of '01, I bought these #Koss speakers for gaming, because they had an under-desk subwoofer. But left and right channels were coming out swapped and I couldn't solve it. My dad the retired tube electronics repairman told me "just cut the twin-lead cable and swap the leads!" That two-minute fix/cheat is still working 23 years later. #DadMemory

Koss Porta Pro looks really cool (and comfy), but just reading that it's a bass-heavy headphone without much treble makes me sick 😅
ksc 75 is flat but... ear clips? c'mon
kph 30 sounds like something good, but ugly as heck.
kph 40 looks ok, but sounds closer to Porta Pro?(I know I can buy the ksc 75 and a heaband. But it would be so good it they had this out-of-the-box :/ )

Den #Kopfhörer gibt es seit einiger Zeit bereits als Bluetooth-Variante und ich hatte den Zeigefinger immer mal wieder über dem Bestellen-Button … bis er gestern dann mal ausgerutscht ist!
