Como aún estamos en #mermay, hoy os traigo una figura muy adecuada: las #sirenas.
En nuestro imaginario, las sirenas tienen cola de pez y busto y rostro de mujer y son muy cuquis. Pero en la #mitologíagriega son mucho más terribles: tienen cuerpo de ave, cabeza y/o busto de mujer. Tenían una voz preciosa y con su canto atraían a los barcos para que se estrellaran en sus rocas y comerse a los marineros.
Sí, la femme fatale no se inventó anoche.
Las #sirenas protagonizan varios mitos que tienen que ver con travesías en el mar, y esto tiene sentido. Originalmente, eran doncellas de #Perséfone , y #Deméter, cuando fue en busca de su hija les dio alas para que pudieran otear el paradero de la joven #Kore.
El cameo más famoso de las sirenas es en #LaOdisea. #Circe (quien se merece otro episodio de Viernes de Mitología Griega) advierte a #Odiseo del peligro de encontrárselas.
Odiseo sabe que si oye su voz, será su perdición, pero no quiere renunciar a la simple curiosidad y tentación de conocer ese embrujo. Así, urde un plan: hace que sus marineros se pongan tapones de cera y les pide que le amarren al mástil. De esa manera, podrá escucharlas sin caer en la tentación de arrojarse al mar.
Y la cosa sale bien. Bien, en el sentido de que sale vivo.
Cuando pasan por las rocas de las sirenas, éstas se marcan sus temazos y las muy puñeteras le tientan con lo que Odiseo más desea: el conocimiento. Ellas le prometen que, si detiene el navío, le contarán secretos del mundo jamás revelados a nadie. En la película #Ulises (1954) y en #Epic, imitan la voz de #Penélope, la esposa de Odiseo que le espera fielmente en el hogar.
Odiseo clama por ser liberado y sus marineros, que están con tapones, no lo oyen. Incluso les hace gestos con el rostro, pero se mantienen fieles a la promesa de no liberarlo.

@to3k Źle mi się kojarzy ten Stremio, właśnie ze względu na to "semi-opensource" jak to trafnie nazwałeś. Poza tym płacenie za piractwo to trochę dziwne podejście do streamingu. Jak już mowa o piratach, to wolę stare dobre i klasyczne podejście do tematu - wszystko ręcznie 😉

Not one statue but a few... Partially painted statues of Kore (Artemis) and Athena from the "Painted Gods" exhibit years ago. I wrote a paper about how the statues were quite colorful and not white, as commonly believed.

Wie alle hier so schaue auch ich leidenschaftlich gerne den #Livestream von @hatnix , am liebsten auf dem TV im Wohnzimmer.
Zu diesem Zweck setze ich #Kodi ein. Bisher habe ich entweder A #owncast als #IPTV Anbieter im Kodi hinterlegt und so den Stream aufgerufen oder B die Stream-URL vom Handy via #Kore an Kodi gesandt.
Beides war ok'ish. Jetzt habe ich (für mich) die Lösung.Ich habe auf dem Kodi eine "hatniX.strm" Datei abgelegt deren einziger Inhalt der Link

ist.
Diese Datei habe ich zum Favoriten befördert und jetzt habe ich eine "one-click-solution" um den Stream via Kodi zu starten.Funktioniert auch mit allen anderen .m3u8 Links.
Übrigens, heute, 19:30 Uhr, also gleich, geht es weiter mit „Beyond: Two Souls”.

Just found out I can stream videos from #Kodi (on the #RaspberryPi 4) to my #Android phone using the #Kore remote and #VLC (both on #FDroid). No need to turn the projector on to watch things from our local video library!
Love it when #FLOSS solutions work together flawlessly like this.Thank you @VLC_Android, @fdroidorg, @Kodi !

Est-ce que quelqu'un a réussi à paramétrer #Kore pour #Kodi sur #LibreELEC ? Mon serveur est bien détecté par l'application, je saisis l'utilisateur/mot de passe que j'ai défini, mais j'ai toujours le même message : "Impossible de se connecter à Kodi. Vérifiez vos paramètres", mais j'ai tout essayé, rien à faire. Et en plus, je n'ai aucun souci pour me connecter depuis mon ordinateur, donc ça fonctionne bien. Une idée ?

Seit ~8Jahren hängt er am TV mit #LibreELEC also #Kodi mit den #YouTube, #Invidious und früher auch mal mit dem #PeerTube Plugin von @framasoft. Leider werden für das Plugin seit langem keine Updates mehr bereitgestellt.

Auf den Mobilgeräten der Familie läuft #Kore mit dessen Hilfe u.a. die Inhalte von #NewPipe und #Zapp (besonders der Mediathek) via Kodi geteilt werden.
