Barry Harris' Kon Kan recently released "Not This One."
This is a synthpop track with some serious bite to it, both in its musical arrangement and in its lyrics. But it's a very catchy song, and it's an earworm... in a very good way.

37 years ago today, February 4, 1989, Kon Kan entered the Top 40 of Billboardโs Hot 100 Singles chart at #37 with โI Beg Your Pardonโ. It went on to peak at #15 and spent a total of 9 weeks in the Top 40.
Song includes several lines from one of my favorite artists, Lynn Andersonโs โRose Garden"; samples.
This is from my years of working in the radio business. They would sometimes receive a few duplicates that I could keep.
