Visiting family in the Carolinas for New Year's and had a blast using a 20-year old Nikon at the North Carolina Zoo. I've never been great at photography, but I quite like the idea of snagging my own reference photos for paintings.

These are EXTREMELY hot, somewhere in the 1.4 to 2 million Scoville range. They're Komodo Dragon Chillies. The red one is about 15mm by 10mm.

I unfortunately forgot her name, but she is a character in a project that Bellicose is writing! Not a Komodo dragon, they have a petrifying gaze. Maybe the wave gesture was a bit too cute :)
