- #jellyfin comme mediacenter
- ...branché sur #yamtrack
- #readeck pour sauvegarder mes "à lire plus tard"
- #dockhand pour évaluer si ça peut remplacer #portainer sur le futur #homelab

- booklore, pour remplacer calibre. En sync avec ma #kobo c'est hyper pratique

@linuxmatters How you choose what services to self host at home and what to leave to the professionals.
I’ve got #Plex, and #Komga as services the whole family uses. And about 20 more services just I use for various things. But my router, wifi, and DNS are all commercial solutions.
What’s your mix and why?

Finally finished the #saga #comic that I had been reading #today so I went to buy the newest Kindle version.
Then I had to strip the drm in order to cbz it.
To do that I had to resurrect my comicrack and comic vines account just to get decent metadata into the file to use my multi-platform reader #komga.
JFC, no wonder ppl pirate this shit.
"Piracy is a service problem." is absolutely right Gaben, I couldn't agree more.

So #tachiyomi has announced they are no longer maintaining/updating the app and have dumped the extensions. What do people on #Android use to read #manga , #WebComics and #manhwa. I host a #komga server for stuff I own. I am looking for a new app to take the big hole tachiyomi will be leaving in my life. Also if it is not Foss I won't even think about using it.

I started reading #Comics some weeks ago, and I’m enjoying it so much!However, I cannot run #Komga in my server. I’m using #DietPi in a #rpi4b. I installed Komga with both #Docker and the diet-pi software tool. But I’m unable to run it, I cannot access the interface.
Do you have any suggestions how to solve it?

I have achieved functionality and convenience for my #audiobooks #video #videogames #music and #comics.
I guess my favorite game of evaluating software and hardware has ended for a while and I have to start *sigh* actually playing games and consuming media.
What a horrible problem to have. 😭

Fiddling around with my #Komga server and Paperback. Guess I had to update the extension in the app - things seem to be working now 🤓

CW: Update on Manga Reading app, iosDev
I’ve spent all afternoon updating my manga reader app to ONLY use Komga as a source. Doing this means I can use their API and do much cooler stuff, like having the thumbnails for each volume load (pictured below) and actually reading and updating read progress on Komga! I’m so happy with the progress I’ve made today!

* Переехал с #kavita на #komga. Хоть вторая сделана для комиксов, а не манги. Но у первой абсолютно сломан webui и им невозможно пользоваться. Буду следить за обоими.
* Научился парсить флаги выполняемой программы и добавил 3 флага в свой генератор.
* Сделал обход всех файлов в директории и конвертирование их в другой формат с идентичным путём. Пример ниже../test/ ├── config.toml ├── input │ ├── gemlog │ │ ├── gemlog1.gmi │ │ ├── gemlog2.gmi │ │ ├── gemlog3.gmi │ │ └── index.gmi │ └── index.gmi └── output ├── gemini │ ├── gemlog │ │ ├── gemlog1.gmi │ │ ├── gemlog2.gmi │ │ ├── gemlog3.gmi │ │ └── index.gmi │ └── index.gmi ├── gopher │ ├── gemlog │ │ ├── gemlog1.gmi │ │ ├── gemlog2.gmi │ │ ├── gemlog3.gmi │ │ └── gophermap │ └── gophermap └── xhtml ├── gemlog │ ├── gemlog1.xhtml │ ├── gemlog2.xhtml │ ├── gemlog3.xhtml │ └── index.xhtml └── index.xhtml 10 directories, 21 files
Работа над ssg идёт медленно, но кое-что получается. Главное не забыть всё чему я научился до следующей сессии программирования. -

I really enjoy my #komga server to keep up with my #manga library. However, I’m still conflicted over how to add stuff to it. I’d rather legally purchase my manga, but most places like Bookwalker or Amazon prevent you from using it outside of their services. So do I really own the manga or just the right to stream it?
