Aujourd'hui, il y a 50 ans, le pianiste Keith #Jarrett enregistrait un concert live à Cologne, en Allemagne, au cours d'une improvisation solo libre d'un peu plus d'1 heure.
À la suite d'un malentendu, le piano sur scène n'était pas bon, au point que Jarrett, qui avait voyagé toute la journée, peu mangé et mal dormi les nuits précédentes, faillit repartir. Fort heureusement, il resta.
Le résultat fut le disque génial "The Köln Concert". Bon anniversaire 🥰

I have just learned about Keith Jarret and the Köln Concert.
Knowing this is played on essentially a broken piano that was tuned just before the concert, and the recording setup was done with hope & a prayer doesn't diminish the amazing beauty of it.
I am sitting here, crying, because the music is hitting just right.
