But I’ve also felt differently about some of the court proceedings than the two YouTube lawyers who are following the case, so I’m just watching the trial on CourtTV, listening to one channel’s summaries, and arguing with people in the comments. There’s a pretty vicious mob mentality among a subset of the commenters that ticks me off. But it also bothers me in #Kohberger video comments too, the only difference being that they believe Karen and hate Kohberger. It’s ick either way.

I wonder if the same people I'm arguing with that they should consider that #Kohberger might be innocent are the same people I'm arguing with that #KarenRead might be guilty. It feels that way, because it feels like they are taking certain statements as fact without evidence having been presented in trial. But maybe it just feels that way because they disagree with me. (Not that I think Kohberger is necessarily innocent, but it's waaaay to early to say either way imo.)

I need to stop arguing with people on the internet, but saying that driving in 20 degree F temps in a small car is clearly a lie is just so ignorant that I had to reply. Like, I do that a good chunk of the winter, and when it’s colder, too. I wish people would just admit they think #Kohberger is guilty because the cops arrested him more than that they have seen compelling evidence. Especially since most of the evidence is sealed!

Following on the #Kohberger pre-trial work really makes me appreciate Ann Taylor's work as a defense attorney. Listening to the various parties argue over the survey the defense's expert conducted is fascinating. Especially as my take on the survey questions, including the questions that included incorrect information, was that it was pretty much fine, because they were asking information (and misinformation) that had already been talked about to a small section of the population.

We're one of the cruelest western nations by design. A former #Moscow, #Idaho maximum security inmate was on #Banfield, and said the beds on one side have a smelly toilet, and if you turn to lie on the opposite side, there is bright light shining on you. He said the razor cuts on #Kohberger's face are due to low-quality razor blades that have burrs on them. Multiple media outlets are now reporting that #GeneticGenealogy was used to solve the recent #IdahoMurders.

The suspect, 28yo #BryanKohberger , was continuously surveilled for several days before being arrested near his home town in Pennsylvania. (My guess is law enforcement was watching him to get a DNA sample w/o needing a warrant.)

#Kohberger was a PhD student, studying Criminology. (Imo, a smart student should know he'd leave #DNA at a crime scene.)
