🐍 Podczas brytyjskich rządów kolonialnych w Indiach, gubernator Delhi był głęboko zaniepokojony rosnącą liczbą jadowitych kobr w mieście. Aby rozwiązać ten problem, urzędnicy wpadli na z pozoru genialny i prosty pomysł: zaoferowali nagrodę pieniężną za każdą dostarczoną martwą kobrę.
Przedsiębiorczy mieszkańcy Delhi szybko jednak przekalkulowali, że polowanie na dzikie węże w dżungli jest męczące i ryzykowne. Zamiast tego... zaczęli masowo hodować kobry w swoich domach i piwnicach, traktując to jako stałe i bezpieczne źródło dochodu.
Gdy Brytyjczycy zorientowali się, dlaczego z budżetu znikają ogromne sumy, a liczba przynoszonych węży stale rośnie, natychmiast zamknęli program nagród. W odpowiedzi hodowcy, zostając z tysiącami bezwartościowych gadów, po prostu wypuścili je wszystkie na ulice. W efekcie populacja jadowitych kobr w Delhi po interwencji rządu była wielokrotnie większa niż przed jej rozpoczęciem.

#Prusa is always a good bet, and being a Czech company, you can always take the printer, ride to their HQ and throw it at their face if you're not happy with your purchase. My i3 Mk3S+ has taken a lot of beating for the past 5 years and is still very reliable. Their CORE One+ (referral link) I consider as the best general choice currently. This one I was considering to buy lately as an upgrade for myself.
At the moment, my plan is to build myself VORON2.4. I will take some parts from my Frankensteined Prusa, buy what I need, and voilà! A 3D printer which is exact dimensions I can fit and with most if not all features I want. I feel confident I can pull off this build, though I don't know how you'll fill about it.
For cheaper options, I've heard a lot of good opinions about #Anycubic #Kobra lineup, and currently their Kobra S1 is on sale for just €349. Unfortunately I don't have much more to say about it, as it never was an appealing option for me. Just heard multiple colleagues of mine praising its quality to price ratio. -

I was looking to replace my cheap #Anycubic #Kobra 2 with a #BambuLab #P1S with AMS, until I read the many horror stories about using #PETG on the P1S (or any Bambu Lab printer, really).
PETG is what I use exclusively (strength vs budget friendliness vs easy-of-use), and the Kobra has no issues with it. I use #3DJake PETG and I can't be bothered to dry it, ever. Always prints fine at 225°C/80°C.
Any P1S users out there that get consistently good results with PETG without too much hassle? Or is there perhaps an alternative that's as easy to use as PETG? I'm mostly looking for impact strength.
Bambu Lab has even discontinued their own PETG "Basic” 🤨
