    "The NSW Government says the Great Koala National Park is “dependent” on money from carbon offsets. Media headlines suggests the offsets are “worth hundreds of millions of dollars”."

    "...Over the long term, taxpayers will pay for 95% of the costs of the Great Koala National Park, while carbon offsets will pay for about 5%. Yet the public is told that it is the carbon offsets that are providing the “real money”, the park “depends” on the offsets."

    Will the air sampling techniques operate with the pollution of heavy logging machinery to detect the scent of a koala or a glider? Will it cut through the thick smoke from (bush) fires that follow? Will traffic pollution allow allow the technology to pick up the airborne eDNA?
