Okay, listened to the final episode of #KnowledgeFight this morning before work.
It's hard, but I am glad for Dan and Jordan to move on and continue to do work they find meaningful. Sounds like (maybe) things were getting ready to wind down regardless, and perhaps Jordan's feelings about the 🧅 takeover of IW just hastened that.
Am I still wracked by Many Feelings? Yes! Absolutely. Soul rent asunder etc, yes, for sure. I do not think I will track down Jordan's video rant.

At the end of an absolute era, the Dan and Jordan from Knowledge Fight have announced the end of their 1137 episode, 9 year long project.
I respect them both, and their decision and hope nothing but the best for them. Their insight and deconstruction of Alex Jones and his insidious influence have helped shaped some of my own points of view and sharpened my critical thinking skills especially when it comes to rhetoric.
If you've never checked out the podcast please do, it is not too late, and arguably most of it is just as relevant now as when it originally aired.
You know that hole you feel at the end of a novel, or book series, where you'll miss the world, the characters, and it's bittersweet. That's what I'm feeling, except I wont miss Alex Jones, fuck him.

I guess I just hope the end of #KnowledgeFight inspires its successors to create more good media in its vein. Not necessarily copycats of the exact format or subject matter, but made with the same philosophy, strategy, consistency, and rigor KF perfected over almost ten years. I don't exactly want a "new KnowledgeFight"; I want the next several things that will in their own ways be as good as KnowledgeFight.

I still haven't read the Patreon letter or listened to the final episode, and I guess I'd assumed the end of #KnowledgeFight was more or less mutual. Sounds like it might have been a falling-out?
Man, if that's true I'm going to be even more bummed, and I was already pretty bummed. They both still have every right to end their involvement in the podcast & I don't want to seem entitled to their efforts. Just noting my melancholy.

I hope they consult the #KnowledgeFight podcast people. They've got a lot of insight into how Alex turns attention into attracting an audience and manipulating their emotions into sales. You need to understand how Alex will grift using you if he can. He's never directly referenced them because it can't benefit him. -

He's whining about being in the position he put himself in: supporting Trump when Trump is doing things Alex made a career of opposing. People are calling Alex out on the socials, but Alex is stuck. If he stays with Trump, this continues. If he abandons Trump, he's admitting he (and the God that speaks to him and tells him such prophesy as what time it is in the middle of the night) was wrong to support Trump.He wants Trump to change course, not leave Trump.

I realize it might sound naïve but it really is something how explicit #AlexJones gets with his antisemitism in this episode.
