The spyderco Gayle Bradley 2 has been a great knife. I got it by trading some micarta scales I made for a spyderco pm2 plus like 50 bucks or something.

Anyway the brass bushings were all gummed up from life so I needed to break it down and clean it all up.

I found this benchmade 560 in my “knife stuff” box. I used to make knife scales and handles out of micarta like 3 moves ago. I was starting to make knives too. I had ground some blades but not done any forging.

I truthfully can’t remember why I quit doing this. These scales for the 560 are about 90% done. It’s a bit like archeology. The life was fully broken down and wrapped up hastily. I’m still not sure why I even stopped doing this project.

This week, in a city called Calama in Chile, a 18 year old armed himself to the teeth to kill as many kids as possible in his school.. he planned it, we all know that now. It is the first time in Chile's history that something like this happens.

Fortunately, other students saw him with knives and sabres, so they tried to stop him... There are not videos yet, but a school inspector ended dead after being stabbed. 4 young teenagers were severely harmed, and the assailant was arrested. He was in 12th grade, with 18 years old, so he will be sentenced as an adult.
