同一地段上月發生持刀劫案，日間有勞力士錶行被搶，事件亦再度引發外界對倫敦治安的關注。最新民調顯示，六成一英國人認為倫敦「不安全」，比例較 2014 年大幅上升。不過市長簡世德強調，倫敦仍屬全球最安全城市之一。

#Knightsbridge Tube station has become the 93rd station on the #London Underground network to offer step-free access, following the opening of a new entrance on Hooper’s Court. The entrance features three lifts providing street-to-platform access to the Piccadilly line for the first time. The upgrade, made possible through collaboration between #TfL and the Knightsbridge Estate, reopens parts of the station closed since the 1930s. This step is part of the Mayor’s goal to make 50% of Tube stations step-free by 2030. Knightsbridge, one of the busiest stations, sees over 13 million journeys annually, serving popular destinations like Harrods and Hyde Park. The new entrance increases station capacity and benefits visitors, residents, and businesses. This development contributes to TfL’s broader aim of improving accessibility across the network.

Knightsbridge, at one time, was just marshland with crossings and bridges. Some claim that one of these bridges was used by knights en route to the Holy Land, to get a blessing from the Bishop of London in Fulham.
