Klaus Nomi by Stefano Castronovo at MOMA’s Club 57 Show. This portrait was left unfinished when Nomi passed away in 1983 from AIDS. I remember his first appearance on TV Party when he was a pastry chef and made a lime tart.

La musique ne vient pas d’une hiérarchie ou d’un savoir strict, mais d’une fête où l’on crée ensemble un moment significatif.

Here’s my #AquariusPlaylist in celebration of some of my favorite #AquariusSunSign music makers. Feel free to use this as a list of suggestions to search out on your preferred evil streaming platform (as they are more or less all equally evil).
Sorry it’s on Spotify! If there are any artists that you discover, please consider purchasing their music to help them continue making the world a little more bearable.

I've been on a Klaus Nomi deep dive the past few days.
He was definitely one of a kind.

42 years ago today we lost Klaus Nomi. Influential even to Bowie during his short time on this Earth.
For some reason this vintage clip is age restricted now.

Am anderen Morge: Und? Also Kind ich weiß gar nicht was Du hast.

Here's a blast from the past... 1979 to be exact! I remember watching this live on #SNL (I was a teenager) and really digging #KlausNomi's #Goth look and ethereal nature!

And finally, an angelic version of “Silent Night” by German countertenor Klaus Nomi (https://youtu.be/R_URkGnFU1U?si=QVTmZYYuFmvxIq-r) from the 2007 posthumously released album “Za Bakdaz: The Unfinished Opera (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_m7xOtp-C_TwA40QMRGSUwGQkWQejqaCuo&si=ct-TDJp0kzfVN1HG) which is comprised of music recorded between 1979 and his passing in 1983

Wait, was that supposed to be Klaus Nomi in American Horror Story NYC S11x02, at the rococo wigs club?
My main association is someone back on Livejournal being into him or talking about him, so not someone I'd know that much about, just suddenly flagging up that the attire seemed similar to things seen back whenever.
Ha, yes, was. Trivia. *does a Damn I'm Good-dance*

First we have a music video for “Lightning Strike” by German countertenor Klaus Nomi (https://youtu.be/tJdljxrvPqo?si=8oJcvS16-Rds7LVj) which was made in promotion of his of his 1981 self titled album (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_m1ZHH6jBbxXMf32u8MXI7Pt5RvI1p8YbY&si=ct2-FjIO9Pp7y49W)
