#KTMB had posted notice reminding #passengers that #KTMKomuter service in #KlangValley on 28 March 2024 will follow weekday timetable, NOT weekend timetable
28 March is public holiday for #NuzulAlQuran in #Selangor & #KualaLumpur where the #train service is operating, so there may be passengers who thought that weekend timetable would apply
However, the service goes all the way to #PulauSebang in #Melaka, and it's NOT a public holiday in both #NegeriSembilan & Melaka

Keretapi Tanah Melayu's (#KTM) Komuter service and Electric Train Service (#ETS) are experiencing disruptions of between 15 and 30 minutes from the original schedule on Wednesday (Nov 29).
This was due to a #train #derailment incident at the #KlangValley Double Tracking project engineering 1 (KVDT1) at KM387.755 between the Kuala Lumpur Station and KL Sentral Station at 4.05am

The upgrades on the automatic fare collection system for the #KTMKomuter network in #KlangValley are almost complete.
#creditcard & #debitcard payments will be supported by all 57 Komuter stations throughout Klang Valley starting from mid-November.
Once the system is open to public, #passenger can just tap their credit & debit card directly on the reader on the newly upgraded Automated Control Gate (ACG) to make their payment.

Those who have taken the train with #KTM will know that the frequency is anywhere between 15 and 30 minutes and if you miss a train, you’ll have to wait for quite some time.
Recently, a Malaysian radio DJ, JC decided to take the #train with KTM to avoid peak-hour traffic.
He was utterly disappointed when the train did not show up after more than 1 hour.

KTM Berhad is informing passengers of KTM Komuter in Klang Valley that all Komuter Link cards will only be valid until 30 September 2023 and discontinued afterwards.
Card reload service at counter will also be discontinued after the same date.
This is likely due to the rollout of the new faregate, which does not support Komuter Link card.
The new faregate only support KITS QR (on KTMB Mobile app) and Touch 'n Go card at the moment.

Before this, KITS is already been used for the intercity ETS, Ekspres Selatan, and Ekspres Rakyat Timuran services, for the KTM Komuter Utara service in Northern region, as well as for the international Shuttle Tebrau service.
The new faregate in Klang Valley seemed to not only include KITS but also maintains the acceptance of the Touch 'n Go card and had plan to support several other payment methods.

KTM Berhad is informing passengers of KTM Komuter in Klang Valley that the KTMB Mobile application has added a new feature in its KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (KITS), so you can now use the mobile application to pay the fare for KTM Komuter service in Klang Valley on the newly deployed faregate.
Make sure to update the application installed from Google Play Store, Apple App Store, or Huawei AppGallery, so that the functionality will be there before using it.

#KTMB Integrated Ticketing System (#KITS) is coming to #KTMKomuter service in the #KlangValley from 10 September 2023.
The system is already being used for #KTMKomuterUtara service in the North Region, #KTM #ETS service, and various #KTMIntercity services including KTM #TebrauShuttle service.
With the implementation of this system, you buy the #ticket for your journey using the mobile app KTMB Mobile, and scan the #QRcode displayed in the app at the #faregate.
