G and I are getting ourselves new (much needed) prescription glasses for Christmas. The store looked like something right out of a sci-fi show. They took our full head scans to create virtual avatars with which to get the exact measurements to 3D print our frames! I was expecting Mr Spock to beam down any minute and offer us Vulcan tea while we waited.

Even though it’s been over a week since we took off the ofrenda de muertos, we keep getting strong, sudden, and unexplainable whiffs of copal incense, burning candles, and even freshly stricken matches, and no amount of ventilation or air freshening seems to work. The only logical explanation is that a tribe of smoke gremlins must have liked our home and decided to move in with us. 🤷🏻♂️
