    The name Kjostad sounds so Norwegian, and his real name, Stefan Aune, even more so. Still, that wasn't the reason why I bought this without having heard a sound from him before.

    As I understand it, this is based on on-location recordings in northern Minnesota, with added electronics etc. afterwards. A lot of hammering on metal etc. Suddenly some birds in the background. A strong sense of space. Very nice, and one of the better Noise CDs I've heard lately.
