Flying over the Valley of Joy - just that there is no valley, not much joy, and we did not really flew *over* it.

The Bistra Charterhouse, Domus Vallis Jocosae -  now Technical Museum of Slovenia - on the western fringes of the Ljubljana Marshes. Established in 1255, closed in 1782, sold in 1826, nationalised in 1945, turned into a museum in 1952.

This was our sixth attempt at KAPing this elusive target - and we will have to come back ... :-)

At the wondrous Lake Cerknica we found a strange river of air that just hugged the ground: there was no wind higher up, and our kite was left hanging at some 70 m.
