How to know it's been a rough, tiring week:
Come home, put water in pot for sous vide
Get water to temp for sous vide
Start side to go with main dish
Finish side, set to cool
Go to start finishing sauce for main dish
Question why the main dish is still in the fridge and not in the sous vide even though the timer is going off
... Damnit -
Lesson of the day: don’t try to melt chocolate and temper it in 32°C or whip cream. In fact, you should just lie in a darkened room and eat ice cubes when it’s this hot. #kitchenfails
