My kitchen bench looks so messy tonight & I hate a messy kitchen bench but it can’t be helped. There’s my sourdough in a bowl proving, but because it’s not very warm it is also wrapped in a blue striped towel. Next to that is the sourdough starter, also proving & when it’s proved enough, so will my bread have also proved. Both can then go in the fridge for a while. There is also a large bowl filled with feijoas, the last couple of days drops. Next to that is a number of washed & dried jars for cooked feijoas that I’ll be doing tomorrow. There is also three jars of feijoa skins in a water & a minimal sugar solution to lightly ferment. The second time I’ve tried this & while refreshing, it needs a little more time to be really delicious. #KitchenDramas #Ferments
